Just started having a problem out of the blue with an exchange server. Running Exchange 2013 with Outlook 2010. Been working fine for the past year. All of a sudden, emails are getting stuck in Outbox.

I create a new profile and the emails work again. On the original profile, It shows Outlook is connected at the bottom of the screen and emails are coming in fine. After a new profile is created, a day later, it stops working. First it was only with one pc now, I have 3 pcs with the same problem. I've rebooted the exchange server. Nope, Outlook never does go offline. It says All folders are up to date and Connected to Microsoft Exchange. I don't see how OWA would help to troubleshoot because like I said, emails still come into the mailbox.

I'm able to send only when I either create a new profile. So far on the new profile that I configured on Friday for the only user reporting a problem originally stop being able to send again. Then today (Monday), 4 other users reported the same problem and I proceeded to recreate their profiles until I discovered the Cached Mode settings solves the problem on their existing Outlook profile. We have a 100M/100M between the office and the office. I doubt it would be a flaky switch switch by either creating a new profile or deactivating the cached mode would resolve the problem.
